LMNTO (Elemento) is a food and experience-driven restaurant where each dish is deconstructed into its core elements to create something visually striking, artistic, and expressive. Blending a scientific, laboratory-inspired aesthetic with a deep passion for Mexican flavor, LMNTO offers an immersive, experimental and contemporary dining experience tucked away in the back streets of Mexico City.

The development process drew heavily from the laboratory environment, aiming for a modern, chic aesthetic that felt precise and calculated, yet still embraced the passion and vibrancy of Mexican cuisine. LMNTO needed to feel deconstructed, and the concept evolved toward a more organic approach, inspired by cell division and the natural world, while simultaneously referencing the clinical precision of lab results, numbers, elements, and the periodic table.

LMNTO’s outcome was a careful balance between scientific rigor, natural fluidity and Mexican passion. Laboratory stamps, periodic table elements and cell growth inspired the visual language of LMNTO. The bold typeface drew inspiration from traditional Mexican lettering, but blended with a typewriter-like monotype. Together, these elements form a brand identity that balances meticulousness and creativity. Warm, bold imagery preserves the vibrancy and passion of Mexican cuisine, while the deconstructed, element-driven approach reinforces a clean, almost clinical sensibility.
